James Brown taught the world to hit the first beat of the bar (The One) and hit it hard! This inspired me to write a little groove in The Godfather of Soul tradition. And just to be ironic, I laced it with all sorts of counter-punches that don't hit on The One...The double entendre lyrics are meant to sell the tune to some company out there who might have a provocative marketing image...hmmm...
